Ambassadors

Enthusiastic student volunteers

The Drury Ambassadors/Student Alumni Association, organized in 1973, has a new look and mission these days. The Drury University Ambassadors/Student Alumni Association promotes the advancement of Drury University through volunteer assistance in the areas of alumni relations, admissions, and career and parent programming.

Officers:
Logan Peterson, President
Brian Shipley, Vice President
Ashley Trantham, Secretary
Katie Daily, Communications Chair
Adonis Bwashi, Treasurer

By serving on one of these committees, Ambassadors are responsible for working with various members of the Drury administration to planning, carry-out, and evaluate volunteer programming on campus. Projects include:

  • Visit Days
  • Family Day
  • Career Planning
  • Commencement
  • Alumni Weekend
  • Homecoming
  • Freshman Orientation
  • Senior Celebration
  • Breakfast with Santa
  • Habitat for Humanity

Alumni Association Council members have many opportunities to work with the students and enjoy the enthusiasm the students display for the university.

Membership is dependent upon GPA, interview, and confirmation by faculty, administration, and current Ambassadors. Once selected, Ambassadors continue with the group until graduation.
